Malaysian Goverment to Introduce RON95?

Goverment are considering by revise RON 92 and RON 97 petrol to RON 95 and RON 99 respectively...

Will the price be as followings:-???
RON92 at RM1.88/L Currently
RON95 at RM1.92/L (Under Proposal?)
RON97 at RM1.92/L Currently
RON99 at RM4.75/L (Under Proposal w/o subsidy?)

RON or Research Octane Number is a measurement of a fuel's ability to resist engine knocking. A higher octane number means higher resistance to engine knocking BUT using higher RON than actually needed is wasting of money and also will cause polution due to incomplete burn of the fuel.
